Miller Architecture

Sustainable, Green & LEED Projects

Miller Architecture has several Green Projects and projects using LEED guidelines in design.

Miller Architecture has become a member of the U.S. Green Building Council.
Tony Miller has achieved LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) professional accrediation.
The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System is a voluntary, consensus-based national rating system for developing high-performance, sustainable buildings. LEED addresses all building types and emphasizes state-of-the-art strategies in five areas: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials and resources selection, and indoor environmental quality. LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED APs) have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building techniques, the LEED Green Building Rating System, and the certification process.

All of Miller Architecture's associated Engineering Consultants have LEED Accredited Professionals on staff to design to the highest feasible level of LEED Certification appropriate.
We have always made design decisions that benefit the long-term interests and happiness of our Clients.

We have always opted toward local materials and tradespeople and optimum siting for the economic benefit and sense of place.
