Miller Architecture has received 10 National Awards to date for Student Housing projects from Student Housing Business, NAHB Best in American Living and the American Institute of Building Design and a Chapter Housing Citation from the American Institute of Architect and Honorable Mention in Professional Design from the International Design Awards.

NAHB will award its Best in American Living 2020 Game Changer Award for our innovative Vertical Student Housing at the virtual ceremony in February 2021.

Student Housing Business awarded Miller Architecture their 2019 Innovator Award for design of Off-Campus Student Housing over 400 Beds at their 2019 Interface Conference in Austin TX.

Miller Architecture received an Honorable Mention in Professional Design from the IDA International Design Awards at their April 20th 2019 Los Angeles Ceremony.

The National Association of Home Builders awarded Miller Architecture 2 Gold Awards for Student Housing and Design Detailing at the International Builders Show in Las Vegas in February 2019.

The American Institute of Building Design awarded Miller Architecture Best in Show for the best project in the nation in 2018. Miller Architecture had also been awarded GRAND ARDA Awards in the categories of Multi-Family Design and Design Detail of the year.

The National Association of Home Builders Design Committee has awarded Arcadia Student Living near UNC Charlotte a 2017 Best in American Living Gold Award.

Arcadia Student Living Loft Cottages near UNC Charlotte has won the 2016 Grand ARDA for Multi-Family by the American Institute of Building Design.

Miller Architecture has been awarded 2016 Innovator Award for Off-Campus Boutique Apartments from the Student Housing Business Association for 708 Summit in Charlotte, NC.

Miller Architecture is working on 2 Active Adult Communities and 2 Market-Rate complexes in Georgia.

126 Unit 507 Bed Suite complex with Clubhouse and Amenities marketed to students of The University of South Carolina. Opened August 2020 during CoVid19 Pandemic with full Occupancy.
Innovative design economical and quick to construct design was awarded 2020 GAME CHANGER Award from the NAHB Best in American Living Awards. For Reign Living of Gainesville Florida.

ARCADIA ON THE RIVER
Milledgeville, Georgia

708 SUMMIT AVENUE
Charlotte, North Carolina
Urban Infill 35 Unit Apartment Building in the Wesley Heights Neighborhood of Charlotte. The building design past rezoning unanimously and is he largest new building to pass Charlotte Historic District Commission review unanimously. Opening December 2014. It was awarded 2016 Boutique Off-Campus Innovator Project of the Year from the Student Housing Business Association at the Annual Gala in Austin Texas April 14th.

THE SANCTUARY AT CHARLOTTE

Off-Campus Student Housing Resort near UNC Charlotte on 23acres at the Future Rocky River Road LYNX Blue Line Transit Station. Resort consist of Clubhouse with luxury amenities such as Stand-Up Tanning, Fireplaces in Locker Rooms, Golf Simulator, etc. Housing in a woodland site consists of 1 Bedroom Cottages, Treehouse style loft Cabins, Lodges, Townhomes around Courtyards, Flats in four story Chalets and Urban style Mixed-Use Apartments nearest the Transit Station. Phase I Opened Fall Semester 2014. Phase II opened for Spring Semester 2015. Awarded 2016 Grand ARDA for Multi-Family from the American Institute of Building Design and 2017 Winner of NAHB Best in American Living Award.

COURTENAY COTTON MILL STUDENT HOUSING
Newry Village Seneca, South Carolina
Miller Architecture provided Consulting Feasibility Studies for adaptive reuse of the Historic Courtenay Cotton Mill in the National Register mill town of Newry in Seneca, SC as a Fitness Focused Student Housing Community for Clemson University Students. Plans achieved far more residential units than the developer Keowee Water Company dba The Historic Newry Mill, LLC budgeted for.
