The Magnolia Pavilion project in Pinehurst has won the Platinum (and only) prize awarded this year in the Outdoor Living Category of the 2015 Best in American Living Awards.

An innovative double sided Rumford Style outdoor fireplace that is the focus of a resort community outdoor amenity was a feature story in the April 2014 Hearth & Home Magazine.

The Magnolia Pavilion in Pinehurst was published as a feature story in the November issue of Fine Homebuilding. The Pavilion has innovative Cedar Framing as well as underfoot heat system under the Bluestone Pavers. The custom round table seats 10 with its lazy susan center. The Pavilion features on Outdoor Kitchen, a Pizza Oven, separate Living and Dining turrets and a 2-story water slide to the custom swimming pool also designed by Miller Architecture.

A French Country Home with heavy timber porches, a screened porch with fireplace and custom iron balcony on Maryland Avenue in Charlotte sold for a record price -$300,000 more than any home on the street prior.

A Miller Architecture Custom Home in Charlotte has just been featured in and on the cover of the coffee table book "Dream Porches and Sunrooms -Designing the Perfect Retreat" by Michael Snow for Harper Collins Publishers. The rest of the outdoor spaces in the Home are featured in a chapter of the book.

Miller Architecture's new Stoep and other renovations to a Cape Dutch style home for Ralph and Kerri Strayhorn were featured in Southern Living magazine.
